SK Hynix Chairman Chey Tae-won says the chip shortage will last until 2030. This isn’t a temporary glitch: it is a fundamental lack of the silicon wafers needed to build the future. One AI chip now eats the resources of ten regular chips, and the factories to fix this simply don’t exist yet.
